Patchwork clothes

No només jo m’entretinc amb les manualitats. La meva mare n’ha fet tota la vida, sobretot costura: brodats, mitja, ganxet,... tot el que es pugui fer amb agulles. Fa un temps va començar a fer patchwork i des de llavors no ha pogut parar. A ella tampoc li queda espai en els mobles per posar els draps, tovalloles i jocs de taula.

Crafts is not only an entertainment for me. My mother has made life especially fashion: embroidery, medium, crochet,... all you can do with needles. Some time ago she started doing patchwork and since then could not stop. There is no space left in furniture to place rags, towels and tableclothes.

Una altra de les coses que m'agrada fer és scrap. Aquest és molt creatiu i permet deixar volar la imaginació, precisament per això, s'ha de fer quan estàs inspirat. Hi ha dies que val més que no t'hi posis. A sota es pot veure la paperera que vaig fer, el problema és que un cop feta, em fa pena fer-la servir de paperera. Què hi farem!

Another thing I like to do is scrap. This technique is very creative and you can let your imagination run with it, thus, you should only do it when you're inspired. Some days it is better not to begin. Below you can see the wastepaper bin that I did, the problem is that once finished, I feel sorry to use it for trash... those are the breaks!

Beaded crystal ball

La primera vegada que vaig voler fer una pentabola em va sortir malament, no sabia què havia passat però va sortir plana. Més tard ho vaig poder descobrir i vaig aprendre a fer les esferes de tupis, però la veritat és que no sé quina m’agrada més.  

The first time I wanted to make a beaded bead I did something wrong, I didn’t know what had happened but it came out flat. Later I discovered the “problem” and learned to make the bicone balls, but the truth is that I’m not sure which of the two I like the most.
